WHERE CAN I HELP?

Volunteers

Grace Garden welcomes volunteers. Volunteers work with the children, help with fundraisers, and complete tasks to keep the charity working.

Mentors

Each one of our college aged staff is paired with a Mentor. These mentors are to provide guidance to the staff while they are accomplishing their tasks, from helping them create a website to helping them plan a fundraising event the mentors insure that each student is motivated and provides resources when the staff is stuck. 

Our Staff

Our staff is a group of young adults that serve in an elected position. In their position they are expected to work hard and attend weekly Google Hangouts meetings prepared with new accomplishments.

Benefits of Being on Staff

-Each College Student gets assigned a mentor to speak to weekly that has experience in the work field and can guide the students through their positions. This on the job training teaches the student how to excel in their new position

-Each College Student is taught how to work remote which is a major skill to gain in the business world.

-Being on executive staff allows the College Aged student to travel with the trip to Guatemala

-The College student will also experience business experience before graduating College and will help them gain connections in networking and resume experience

- Grace garden also provides the student with hundreds of hours of community service. 

What We are Looking For in a Staff Member

- We are looking for College Aged students that are motivated, caring, and responsible. 

- New Staff needs to be able to attend weekly meetings, and schedule a time to work with their mentor each week.
